Measuring Life

I was browsing through the internet looking for some lyrics when I suddenly remembered this amazing song that I have always loved. It's one of my favorites, but since it is often played (or often sung), I only remember it every once in awhile.

Today, was one of those once in awhile.

How do you measure a life of a person? Is it with what he owns? Is it by determining the position that he holds in his company? Do you measure your worth by comparing yourself to your friends?

I'm not quite sure. But just as this song reminds us, maybe we should measure our lives by measuring the amount of love that we have.

Love for God, ourselves, our families, our friends.

Maybe it's really about remembering what love is that our life becomes more meaningful.
That our yardstick isn't just our riches, not our fame, not our ego...That in everything we do, we consider love in the equation...That in each decision we make, love would be the seal...That in every person we meet, we touch their lives by showing them that love makes a big difference.
I guess love does have seasons.

Winter... Spring...Summer... Fall.

Love gone cold...Blossoming Love...Unconditional Love...Falling Out of Love.
