Blogger on touch

Finally!!! Now I'm in touch with my blog!!! No, I'm not too excited. I just like using a lot of exclamation points. A lot of stories to be told, feels like a century of updating is needed to be done but hey there's no need to rush right? I think the holidays won't even mind me narrating my journey for this year. Wish list granted!

Our adventure times four: Welcoming our little princess

I have been busy. But this time I'm not going to go sentimental about not being able to write simply because I have to admit that I've had so many things going on, I wasn't able to pick-up my pace in writing. I have so much to write about, so many ideas in my head, but I chose not to write for the time being. Today, I get back to my first love and chronicle another wonderful moment in my life -- the birth of our second child, Zoe.

Funny how my kids have a mind of their own even before they were born. I say this because it seems to me they have their ways of choosing their own birth dates. Our first born, Zye, came out while he was seven and a half months only and now our little princess, Zoe, came out June 17th when she was scheduled for CS delivery August 4. I told you -- they have their ways of choosing their own birthdays.

I was doing my normal routine, still going to work and not having any problems with my pregnancy. Evening of June 15 when I had my spotting then the next day I found myself being rushed to the hospital and apparently I was 1cm open, ready to go to labor. By 2AM, dawn of June 17, I started having labor contractions within 2 minutes interval. Next thing I knew, my husband was asked to sign a waiver because I was going to be prepped up for the operating room for an emergency CS delivery.

Unlike Zye wherein I had the unfortunate experience of being bed ridden for two weeks (hoping to add more weeks before I give birth), my recovery was faster for Zoe. However, like it was meant as another testimony of faith, Zoe tested positive with infection on her third day and she had to spend two weeks in the hospital to finish up her antibiotics and photo therapy session. It was hard having to see her undergo the pains of so many needles but we are thankful to God for giving her the healing she needed. We went home two weeks after I gave birth.

Another addition to our family, another story to tell. Now my heart is just overwhelmed seeing our miracles of life. Truly blessed, totally loved, overdosed with happiness --- that is the DRIZzled life.

Baby name

In a conversation, I was asking Zye what baby he wants and he told me he wanted a baby boy. When I asked him what name we will give the baby he said, 'Justin Bieber'. Hahaha! Go figure!
